Scenes from Aaron Copland’s Rodeo

The ballet follows a cowgirl trying to fit in with the cowboys. However, they shun her based on her gender. The women of the town turn her away for not being feminine enough. The illustrations deviate from the plot of the original ballet as the cowgirl offers her handkerchief to a well to do woman who fell in the mud, gaining her attention.
